Delete your SchoolJot account
For the SchoolJot app by SchoolJot Tech Pvt Ltd. You can delete your account yourself, in the app, at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open SchoolJot and sign in.
- Tap your initials in the top-right corner to open your profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Tap Send code, enter the code we send you, and tap Delete my account.
Can't use the app?
Email support@schooljot.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". If your account only has a mobile number, include it and your school's name. We will confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days.
Accounts that manage a school (school administrators) are closed through support, so the school always keeps an administrator.
What happens
| When | What |

| Straight away | Your account is closed: you are signed out on every device, notifications stop, calendar links stop working, and you are removed from your school's lists. |
| Within 30 days | Your name, email address, mobile number and profile details are permanently removed, along with sign-in details such as the IP address and device of past sessions. |
| Kept by the school | Posts and messages you shared with your school stay in the school's records so class history stays complete, but they no longer show your name (they show "Former parent" or "Former teacher"). |
Information about your children is part of the school's records and is managed by the school. To have it corrected or removed, contact your school.
